Animation Details
Climbing Somthing presents a traversal performance that moves from short approach steps into overhead reaches and high knee lifts. The character begins with the arms beside the body, bends the knees and raises both hands above the head. Alternating leg lifts follow while the arms remain high, creating a compact climbing-style passage.
The hands then lower toward the head and torso as one knee draws close to the chest. The upper body folds forward over the raised leg before the character lowers into a deeper bend and recovers toward upright stepping. No obstacle is rendered, so the hand placements and folded-body transition need to be matched to separately constructed scene geometry.

Listed animation format: FBX. Motion category: approach, overhead reaching, tucked leg movement and recovery. Source frame rate, skeleton structure, root motion and seamless looping have not been independently verified.
Compatibility and Production Workflows
Maya's FBX import can support fitting the reach and forward fold into a cinematic traversal shot. Unreal Engine's skeleton-retargeting workflows may suit a game avatar with appropriate setup. Check shoulder reach, knee clearance and hand placement against the target character and obstacle geometry. These workflows have not been asset-tested.
Suitable Uses
Adventure-film movement, game-character obstacle interactions, animated exploration scenes and avatar traversal studies. The contrasting high reach and forward fold provide distinct phases for a staged climb, with approach and recovery transitions adjusted to the surrounding scene.
