Animation Details

Afraid of noise and ready to attack moves from a standing startle into a guarded, alert stance. The preview begins with bent arms near the torso and small shifts through the feet. Both hands then lift above and beside the head as one knee rises, followed by a low defensive dip.

The character pushes back upward, keeps the hands near the face and settles into a wider stance. Later head turns, shoulder adjustments and small steps maintain the sense of readiness. This gives the performance a clear progression from surprise to a prepared posture, useful for establishing tension before your scene continues into another action.

Technical Specifications

File format: FBX, according to the existing listing. Motion category: startled reaction, low defensive dip and guarded standing readiness. Source frame rate, skeleton details, root-motion behavior and loop suitability have not been confirmed.

Compatibility and Production Workflows

Unreal Engine use requires an appropriate skeleton when staging the reaction ahead of a combat scene. MotionBuilder offers an FBX retargeting route after suitable source and target characterization. Check knee clearance, guard height and transitions into your chosen next movement; these workflows have not been tested with this asset.

Suitable Uses

Ambush anticipation, startled confrontation scenes, tense encounter introductions and horror-action cutscenes. Place your own sound cue at the initial arm lift, then let the guarded recovery establish that the character is watching for what happens next.
