Animation Details
Afraid of something 1 is a floor-level reaction that shifts from hands and knees into a braced seated position. The preview opens with both palms supporting the upper body and the knees tucked beneath the hips. The character lowers and turns the torso, slides the legs toward one side and transfers weight through the arms.
One leg extends outward while the other remains bent, leaving the body supported close to the ground. The head lifts and changes direction as the hands maintain support. This progression offers a useful vulnerable posture for a character responding to something nearby, with the change in body level and support points carrying the reaction.
Technical Specifications
File format: FBX, according to the existing listing. Motion category: ground-level reaction with a kneeling-to-seated weight transfer. Source frame rate, skeleton details and root-motion configuration have not been confirmed.
Compatibility and Production Workflows
Maya FBX import can support blocking the floor interaction and adjusting the pose to a scene. Houdini's KineFX FBX Animation Import offers a route into a procedural character workflow. Pay particular attention to palm contact, hip height and leg clearance during retargeting; these workflows have not been tested with this asset.
Suitable Uses
Ground-level threat reveals, reactions after a fall, hiding scenes and suspenseful character close-ups. The supported seated finish can establish a character watching danger from below while leaving room for a subsequent retreat or recovery animation.
