Animation Details
Afraid of noise_1 folds a startled character into a low, head-covering posture before a gradual recovery. The preview begins standing with a hand near the chest. Both arms lift around the head as the character drops into a staggered, kneeling-like position, bends forward and tucks the face behind the forearms.
The body stays compressed briefly, then shifts back onto the feet. One hand remains near the cheek while the opposite forearm draws across the upper body during the rise. The character straightens and lets the hands settle closer to chest height. This sequence gives the reaction a distinct protective contraction followed by a cautious return to standing.
Technical Specifications
File format: FBX, according to the existing listing. Motion category: startled kneeling-like drop, head covering and standing recovery. Source frame rate, skeleton configuration and root-motion behavior have not been confirmed.
Compatibility and Production Workflows
Maya FBX import can support camera blocking around the tucked head and folded arms. MotionBuilder offers a retargeting route after suitable source and target characterization. Check forearm-to-head clearance, knee height and foot support on your character; these workflows have not been tested with this asset.
Suitable Uses
Overhead-crash reactions, sudden machinery bursts, thunder-driven startles and tense cinematic interruptions. Align your own sound cue with the arm lift, then use the low protective pose and careful rise to extend the response into the following beat.
