Animation Details

Aiming with Pistol and Moving Side is a pistol-aiming movement animation built around lateral steps and a forward-held upper body. The preview shows the hands paired in front of the chest while the knees stay flexed. The feet draw inward and briefly cross before one leg reaches outward to reopen the stance.

This narrowing-and-opening pattern repeats through the visible movement, with small shifts through the hips and shoulders. The head and arms remain oriented broadly forward as the legs perform the side-stepping action. The contrast between a consistent upper-body shape and active footwork gives the character a readable lateral-movement silhouette.

Technical Specifications

File format: FBX, according to the existing listing. Motion category: pistol-aiming sidestep with crossing footwork and bent knees. Source frame rate, skeleton details, root-motion direction and seamless-loop suitability have not been confirmed.

Compatibility and Production Workflows

Unity humanoid workflows require a correctly configured Humanoid Avatar for character-movement evaluation. MotionBuilder offers an FBX retargeting route after suitable source and target characterization. Check crossing-foot clearance, hand grouping and alignment with your separately added pistol prop; these workflows have not been asset-tested.

Suitable Uses

Character-strafe prototypes, lateral action shots, scripted repositioning and third-person locomotion studies. The outward leg extension can help make the sideways rhythm visible in full-body framing while the raised hands preserve the character's forward-facing emphasis.
