Animation Details
crawling to crouch begins with the character low and leaning sideways, one arm extended downward and the opposite forearm close to the chest. The legs gather beneath the torso as the upper body rises into a one-knee pose. The character then lifts into a bent-knee crouch, with both hands held in front and the head angled toward them. Small arm and body adjustments continue in the crouched ending posture; a long guide moves with the hands.
Technical Specifications
Listed animation format: FBX. Source frame rate, rig structure, bone count, root motion and loop continuity remain unverified. The preview does not establish floor contact constraints, obstacle clearance or included prop geometry.
Compatibility and Production Workflows
Blender or Maya offer FBX import workflows for fitting the rise to a film set. Unity Humanoid retargeting requires a valid Avatar and suitable bone mapping; Unreal Engine import needs an appropriate Skeleton asset. Review the low supporting arm, knee position and final hip height on your character. These workflows have not been tested with this asset.
Suitable Uses
Use the transition for a game character changing from low movement to a crouched pose, a film character emerging beside an obstruction or an avatar action with a visible change in height. Keep the full body in frame to show the intermediate kneeling phase. Fit any props and surrounding geometry after retargeting.
