Animation Details
Lays down and takes aim with gun includes a kneeling-to-prone transition, an aiming hold and a return to standing. The preview begins low with a foot ahead and a hand reaching forward. The torso folds over the supporting arms as the legs extend backward and the chest lowers toward the floor.
The character settles onto the forearms with the hands raised for the prone aiming section. Later, the legs gather underneath again and the body pushes upward through a crouched position. The finish is standing with the hands held lower in front. This gives the sequence both entry into the ground-level pose and a visible exit from it.
Technical Specifications
File format: FBX, according to the existing listing. Motion category: kneeling descent, prone aim and ground-to-standing recovery. Source frame rate, skeleton details, root-motion path and seamless-loop suitability have not been confirmed.
Compatibility and Production Workflows
Blender FBX import can support reviewing the hand, forearm, knee and foot contacts across the changing body levels. MotionBuilder offers a retargeting route after suitable source and target characterization. Check limb clearance and alignment with your separately added gun prop during both transitions; these workflows have not been asset-tested.
Suitable Uses
Prone-entry-and-exit cutscenes, complete character stance changes, ground-to-standing animation studies and continuous action blocking. The final recovery lets a scene move beyond the aiming hold without requiring an abrupt change in the character's body level.
