Animation Details
Crouch to Run opens with a compact forward-leaning stance before the legs extend into alternating strides. The elbows draw back, then the arms swing into wider positions as the character raises the torso. Changes in shoulder angle and foot placement turn the body through front and side views.
The movement includes a broad sideward stance, another low forward bend and further stepping with one leg reaching outward. Near the finish, the character stays lower with the knees apart, one hand near the thigh and the other arm changing position beside the body. This version combines the initial rise with later lowered passages and a wide stance at the end.
Technical Specifications
Listed animation format: FBX. Motion category: crouched-to-striding movement with changes in facing and a low finish. Source frame rate, joint count, root motion and seamless looping have not been independently confirmed.
Compatibility and Production Workflows
Blender's FBX import can support fitting the initial rise and later bend into a film action sequence. Unity Humanoid retargeting may suit a game avatar with appropriate rig mapping. Check knee spacing, ankle crossings and shoulder motion, then refine transitions around the lowered endpoint. These workflows have not been asset-tested.
Suitable Uses
Cinematic character movement, stylized action scenes, game locomotion transitions and avatar performance studies. The changing facings and low closing stance offer several editing choices for linking a crouched pose with more expansive stepping and subsequent character actions.
