Animation Details

Coming down from steps shows a character taking successive alternating steps while the arms swing loosely beside the body. The knees bend and lift in a repeated rhythm, and the torso changes facing direction partway through the sequence. The character continues stepping after the turn, then reduces the movement and settles into a standing pose. No stairway is rendered, so the preview establishes the body performance without defining stair contact or dimensions.

Technical Specifications

Listing inventory: two FBX files and one BVH file; archive contents have not been independently inspected. Source frame rate, skeleton structure, bone count, root motion and loop behavior remain unverified. Stair height, tread depth and movement distance have not been established.

Compatibility and Production Workflows

For the listed FBX format, Blender or Maya offer import workflows for adapting the motion to a film set. Unity Humanoid retargeting requires a valid Avatar and suitable bone mapping; Unreal Engine import needs an appropriate Skeleton asset. Review foot spacing, knee clearance and the body turn against your scene geometry. These workflows have not been tested with this asset.

Suitable Uses

The stepping sequence can support a character arriving from a staircase, everyday game traversal or an avatar moving through an interior. A full-body or three-quarter view can retain the arm swings and change in direction. For a stair setting, align each foot placement with separately supplied geometry and adjust the approach and standing finish.
