Animation Details
Aims with gun is a raised-aim turn-and-return animation. The preview begins with the knees flexed, the body slightly forward and both arms held ahead near shoulder height. The feet reposition as the character turns away from the initial view, keeping the raised arm arrangement through the change in facing.
The character holds the away-facing stance for much of the preview, then steps and rotates back toward the starting orientation. The head stays inclined along the hands while the legs support the turn. This creates a clear orientation change without a large alteration in the upper-body pose, useful for maintaining continuity across an action scene.
Technical Specifications
File format: FBX, according to the existing listing. Motion category: standing gun aim with a turn, held orientation and return. Source frame rate, skeleton details, root-motion rotation and seamless-loop suitability have not been confirmed.
Compatibility and Production Workflows
Maya FBX import can support matching the turn and return to your scene's camera coverage. MotionBuilder offers a retargeting route after suitable source and target characterization. Check foot placement, shoulder orientation and alignment with your separately added gun prop throughout the turn; these workflows have not been asset-tested.
Suitable Uses
Aiming orientation changes, reverse-angle character shots, scripted attention shifts and action-dialogue cutscenes. The held middle section can provide room for a scene event before the return restores the earlier composition.
