Animation Details
Attacking with Sword_1 combines a stepping approach, a raised-knee accent and a low downward follow-through. The preview begins in a wide stance with one hand near the chest and the other lower. The character steps forward, turns the shoulders and raises the active arm beside the head as a knee lifts.
The body then travels into a long step and lowers onto one knee, folding the torso forward while the hands move down in front. After small upper-body adjustments in this low position, the character rises into a wide, bent-knee stance with the hands gathered nearer the body. The changing height is a defining feature; no opponent or visible impact is shown.
Technical Specifications
File format: FBX, according to the existing listing. Motion category: advancing sword-action preparation, raised knee and kneeling follow-through. Source frame rate, rig configuration, root-motion implementation and seamless-loop behavior have not been independently confirmed.
Compatibility and Production Workflows
Maya's FBX workflow can support checking the travel path and lowered endpoint against your set. Review hand alignment, blade clearance and knee contact after retargeting to your character. An Unreal setup requires an appropriate skeleton and separate action events; these routes have not been asset-tested.
Suitable Uses
Fantasy character cinematics, sword-action showcases and game scenes with a pronounced high-to-low movement. Wider coverage can preserve the raised knee and descent, while the return to a standing stance can connect to a separately staged opponent reaction or next action.
