From this folded position, the arms travel forward and diagonally upward as the body rises. The torso briefly leans back beneath the elevated reach, then the hands descend across the front. The character returns to a wide, bent-knee stance with the hands low. This variation's clearest feature is the change from the compact low lunge to the taller, extended upper-body shape.
