Animation Details
Attack with Sword_5 combines a high arm lift with a turning sweep and a lower cross-body action. The preview begins with the character's feet apart, knees flexed and active hand near the hip. The hand rises beside and above the head as the other arm moves across the torso.
A forward step carries the body through a turn and bend. The character then comes around with the active hand raised near the shoulder before sweeping it down across the front of the body. The stance lowers again and settles with the hands apart. This variation emphasizes the contrast between the elevated preparation and the later low sweeping movement.
Technical Specifications
File format: FBX, according to the existing listing. Motion category: sword-action sequence with overhead preparation, turning follow-through and a low sweep. Source frame rate, rig structure, root-motion implementation and seamless-loop suitability have not been independently confirmed.
Compatibility and Production Workflows
Maya's FBX workflow can support blocking the high and low hand paths against your chosen sword geometry. Check wrist orientation, blade clearance and the lowered stance after retargeting. For Unity humanoid use, configure a suitable Humanoid Avatar and author action transitions separately; these routes have not been asset-tested.
Suitable Uses
Medieval adventure cinematics, fantasy character reels and stylized sword-fight sequences. A wider composition can preserve the change in hand height, while the lower finishing stance can support a pause, reaction cut or separately created continuation.
