Animation Details
Dance 4 combines crossing steps, frequent turns and a passage of overhead arm movement. The character changes from front to side and rear views early in the preview, with one foot drawing behind the other. The hands alternate between open positions beside the waist and smaller gestures near the chest.
During the middle passage, the forearms rise around the head, the hands reach overhead and both arms spread outward. The feet continue crossing and separating beneath these gestures. Later, the character turns again, bends more deeply at the knees and extends a hand forward while the opposite arm stays closer to the body. The finish retains a lowered, side-facing stepping posture.
Technical Specifications
Listed animation format: FBX. Motion category: turning dance with crossing footwork, overhead reaches and a lowered finish. Source frame rate, skeleton details, root motion and seamless looping have not been independently verified.
Compatibility and Production Workflows
Maya's FBX import can support matching the changing facings to camera coverage in a film party scene. Unity Humanoid retargeting may suit a social-game avatar with appropriate rig mapping. Review crossed-foot spacing, arm clearance and transitions into the deeper knee bends. These workflows have not been asset-tested.
Suitable Uses
Featured dance characters, animated party activity, social-avatar performances and movement studies. The frequent turns provide different views of the performer, while the overhead passage and low finish offer contrasting poses for an edited celebration or character showcase.
