Animation Details
Crouch to Run and Walking combines lowered stances, alternating steps and expansive upper-body gestures. The character begins leaning forward with the hands near the knees, then rises into stepping while one arm extends sideways. Longer leg reaches follow, accompanied by torso turns and changes in facing.
The arms later sweep farther outward and upward, including a hand raised above the head. Deep forward folds interrupt the taller poses before the character rises and steps again. The closing passage includes another outward arm reach, a lowered stance and crossing feet. These changes in posture and gesture continue throughout the visible performance.
Technical Specifications
Listed animation format: FBX. Motion category: mixed stepping and striding with deep bends and broad arm gestures. Source frame rate, skeleton details, root motion and seamless loop behavior have not been independently verified.
Compatibility and Production Workflows
Maya's FBX import can support choosing individual movement passages for a stylized film scene. Unreal Engine's skeleton-retargeting workflows may suit a game character with appropriate setup. Review overhead arm clearance, spine deformation and crossed-foot positions, and select entry or exit poses for surrounding actions. These workflows have not been asset-tested.
Suitable Uses
Expressive horror scenes, surreal character movement, animated pursuit passages and avatar performance studies. The mixture of low folds and large arm shapes provides visual variation for an edited sequence or a character whose movement is deliberately stylized.
