Animation Details

Crawling shows a character maintaining a low, nearly horizontal posture through repeated reaching movements. One arm extends ahead while the opposite elbow folds near the torso; the hands alternate as the shoulders and chest change angle. The knees bend unevenly, with one leg drawing closer to the body while the other extends behind. The head stays low and follows the upper-body movement. The visible sequence continues in this crawling pattern without rising to stand.

Technical Specifications

Listed animation format: FBX. Source frame rate, rig structure, bone count, root motion and loop continuity remain unverified. Repetition in the preview does not confirm a seamless animation loop, travel distance or authored terrain contact.

Compatibility and Production Workflows

Blender or Maya offer FBX import workflows for adapting the crawl to a film scene. Unity Humanoid retargeting requires a valid Avatar and suitable bone mapping; Unreal Engine import needs an appropriate Skeleton asset. Review palm and forearm height, knee clearance and chest position on your character before fitting the surrounding environment. These workflows have not been tested with this asset.

Suitable Uses

Use the low movement for a game traversal passage, a film character moving beneath a staged obstruction or an animation study of alternating limb coordination. A side or three-quarter view can preserve the changing reach and leg shapes. Plan the entry, exit and movement through your scene after inspecting the available animation.
